CLÉMENT ROSENTHAL

(PARIS, 1956)

Very early on, Clément Rosenthal’s goal was to acquire enough technique to give himself the means to reconcile both abstract and classical painting, Western and Asian art.
He managed to master the technique of painting and drawing, collage, inks and watercolors and finds in his painting the influence of collage and inks and his sense of drawing.
He is inspired by the works of the great masters of classical painting and extreme oriental aesthetics as well as by his observation of the lines and shapes of things in nature.
He has worked with various gallery owners and art professionals and has participated in several contemporary art fairs: Basel Contemporary Art Fair, FIAC, Miami Art Basel, New York Armory Show, Palm Beach Art Show, Intersect Palm Springs.
Several works have been acquired by the Centre d’Art Contemporain Georges Pompidou (Paris) as well as by public and private contemporary art funds.
He now collaborates exclusively with the Boccara Gallery.
